Today I managed (for the first time) to do a decent two-way synchronization between my cell phone (Sony Ericsson K800) and Google Calendar. It seems like all my data except for full day events were synchronized correct (full day events became just an event). It’s heading the right direction even if there are issues left to solve.
If you think the topic sounds fun, check out SE WebCam. It’s probably not useful and it’s beta for sure, but I think it’s fun anyway (I couldn’t get it to work with my K800i though).
The beautiful program GCalSync, that lets you syncronize your cellphone with Google Calendar, is now released open source!

All I needed was to be able to receive multiple files sent via Bluetooth from my phone to my computer. At first, this seemed easy, but after running the Bluetooth receive files wizard in Windows I realized that it was not capable of receiving multiple files without restarting the wizard for each file. So I searched around a bit (unfortunatley quite a big bit), but at last I found FMA (2.1 beta 3).
It’s not perfect, but I can at least get my images from my phone now.
If you have any other recomendations for good Bluetooth programs, please post comments!
Update 1: I just found the program MyPhoneExplorer. It seems even better!
Update 2: I have tried MyPhoneExplorer more now and it is a good program. Try it out! I attach a screen shot from the calendar view below.
Today I found a great application (GCALSYNC) that allows users to synchronize Google Calendar with their cell phone. It runs on the phone and are capable of both uploading and downloading to and from Google Calendar. Unfortunatley my phone is unsupported, but I guess that’s a good thing, finally making me buy a new one ^_^
It’s still in beta, but seems to work (according to Peter).
