I’m on my way to an exam in how you do design of embedded systems. I seriously think this will be the absolutley hardest exam in my lifte, but I have learned so much (even if it might not be enough or the wrong things) the latest days so I’m pretty happy even if I don’t pass the exam.
I really recomend you to download the E.W. Dijkstra movie from 1992 on his webpage. That logical reasoning has been a big part of my life the latest semester. I suck so bad at it, but I guess we all do.

I have been using Jabber user for a while. I have been using it through Gaim in Linux and Miranda in Windows. I have always disliked Gaim. Not for it’s features (it’s featureful) but simply becuase I dislike the GUI and the feel of the program..
Some days ago my friend Peter told me to check out transports in Jabber. Today I did.. Transports seems to be a good thing! Transports is a haxx that I can use to register my ICQ and MSN account at my Jabber server and Jabber synchronizes the messages from those accounts with my Jabber account..
I’ll try it for a while and see if I like it. I can se problems that ICQ/MSN and those might dislike transports.. but in that case I’ll advocate for stop using ICQ/MSN and such!

When I rode to school today I discovered that the Bicycle LED Sign is a hypocrite!
I happened to pass by when a bus drove on the road below the bicycle path and guess what.. The counter increased by two!
Hypocrite counter!

Today I hooked up my scanner in oscar. One year ago I would never think it could work and I did not even bother to try it. But now (with Ubuntu ^_^) you are spoiled and “everything” work from the box.
I checked the SANE webpage to se if there were any haxx for me. But there were only one thing.. A link to a proprietary software called VueScan. On the web page you could download an evaluation and three minutes later I had the image on my desktop. The package costed $50, but I guess I’ll have to buy it.
I should send the bill to HP and bitch on them for not having Linux drivers or maybe I should stay with the open source driver. It didn’t scan correctly, but the image is cute anyway so ^_^
